stunning work- really- you are definitly one of the best watercolor-ers I have seen.
how did you make the water sparkles? do you use any other materials other than watercolors? like this paper-fiber glue? or that glue that you pull out after you color and it leaves the page white?

You get them by putting blobs of masking fluid, wait till the wash dries and then lift the color around them gently. The random looking sparks are done with a hog hair brush by splaying the fibers and dipping the very tip in the masking fluid. Try it out on paper first to get the texture you need.
